Distributed Testing is a kind of testing which use multiple systems to perform Stress Testing. Distributed testing is applied for testing web sites and server applications when they are working with multiple clients simultaneously.
AFL’s testing team describes how to setup a distributed testing infrastructure on the cloud for performance testing of applications. In this Proof Of Concept video, developed by our Trivandrum office team – the API responses from the open weather project are captured, analyzed and most importantly, visually displayed via a simple browser.
The PoC also leverages the scalable architecture of the AWS cloud for creation of master / slave instances to test performance and capture test results from the host.
Finally, the test infrastructure described in the POC is a highly scalable setup can ensure performance testing on the cloud.
